Adam Jay "Bo" Birkholz

Adam Jay “Bo” Birkholz, 62, of King, NC, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Mr. Birkholz was born on February 10, 1962, in Minnesota to the late Richard Birkholz and Andrea Mabe who survives. Bo loved golf and playing softball and cherished the time he could spend with his family and friends. He enjoyed his many golf trips and spending time with his buddies. He also loved his three children and loved watching them play sports as they were growing up.

In addition to his father, Richard Birkholz, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jimmy Mabe, and a sister, Antionette “Tony” Birkholz.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Tanner Ferguson (Sawyer), two daughters, Sarah Coe (Keylan) and Kayla Birkholz, a brother, Stephen Heflin (Carol), a sister, Eve Birkholz (Jeffery Ray), his grandson, Truman Ferguson, stepmother Ailene Birkholz, and the mother of his children, Karen Ferguson, along with several nephews, nieces, and other beloved relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
