Adrienne Mabe Obituary

Rural Hall – On January 25, 2021, Adrienne Love Mabe, 15, loving daughter, granddaughter, niece, and friend went to her heavenly home after a brief stay at Brenner’s Children’s Hospital.

Adrienne was born on April 22nd, 2005 in Surry County, North Carolina to Buzz and Amber Mabe.

She was a true angel with an unforgettable smile.  She was a beautiful soul inside and out.  Adrienne was fiercely loyal by nature.  She was always helping those closest to her and would go to any lengths to make sure they were taken care of.

In her school age years, she was involved with competitive dance and completed several dance competitions.  Her favorite place to go every year was Palm Beach Florida.  She loved her dog Lola, all things tye-dye, shopping, country music and getting her nails done.  Adrienne was a member of Hope Church in Mt. Airy, NC.

Most importantly, Adrienne had a deep love for her family.  The relationship she had with her brother, Chandler, was unlike any other.  They were only thirteen and a half months apart which resulted in experiencing many of life’s adventures together.  Adrienne loved her Mother and was proud of her career accomplishments.  She also loved her Father, and to everyone that knew her, knew she was the epitome of a true Daddy’s girl.

Adrienne was predeceased by her paternal great-grandmothers, Lorene Mabe and Jeanette Walters, her maternal great-grandparents, Reginald, and Loreen Turner; Nicholas and Lelia Livadaras.

The remaining family to carry on her memory are her parents, Buzz and Amber Mabe, her brother, Chandler; maternal and paternal grandparents; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

Her service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Freedom Baptist Church in Rural Hall, NC.  The service will be officiated by Pastor Craig Edwards.  The visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  The service will promptly start at 2:00 PM following the visitation.  A private graveside service will follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Adrienne Mabe Memorial Fund at Slate Funeral Home in King, NC.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Brenner’s Children’s Hospital PICU for their incredible care of Adrienne.  We would also like to express our appreciation to Freedom Baptist Church for use of their staff and facilities, Bethel Baptist Church, Pastor Craig Edwards, and Slate Funeral Home.

The Mabe family appreciates all of the prayers, concerns and monetary donations extended during this difficult time.
