Angela Faye (Burton) Browder

Angela Faye Burton Browder, 60, of King, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, surrounded by those she loved dearly.

Angela was born in Beaufort, SC, on April 28, 1964, to Jim and Elaine Gupton Burton. She was a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines and was a member of TWU 556.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her late husband, and her mother-in-law.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mary Hattan (Evan) and Chris Browder (Rebecca); a brother, Jimmie Burton (Rob Ward); a sister, Christy Adkins (Jamey); grandchildren: Sommer Snider (Josh), Adriana Hernandez, Ella Grace Hattan, and Brooklyn Browder; a great-grandchild, Aria Snider; her father-in-law, Harold Browder; and nieces and nephews: Mackenzie Vestal, Jade Vestal, Jacob Adkins, and Justin Adkins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Anyone wishing to convey their condolences may visit Slate Funeral Home and sign the guest register on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
