Ashley was born November 20, 1984, in Norton, VA to Cynthia Fleming and John Adron Elkins, Jr. who survive.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John Kelse and Joan Fleming, and John A. Elkins, Sr.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Maia Penelope Elkins, mother, Cynthia Fleming, father, John Adron Elkins, Jr., grandparents, Ron and Pauline Booe, sister, Kelsey Knight Jamison and husband Brandon, and brother, Gerald Denis Hebert, several, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends .
