Barbara Ann Burcham, 72, of King, NC, passed away on November 15, 2025, at Atrium Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC.
Born in Grayson County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James and Nancy Adkins Clontz and was preceded in death by her son, Larry Franklin “Frankie” Burcham, and her brother-in-law, Alan Coley.
Barbara was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, where she served as chairman of the Personnel Committee, sang in the choir, and was a member of Women on Missions, as well as several other committees. Barbara was a registered nurse and began her career at Stokes Home Health Care before working at Forsyth Medical Center and retired from Baptist Hospital. Barbara loved to hunt and fish, camp, travel, be outdoors, along with cooking and baking. She was a great wife, mother, and grandma.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 54 years Larry Burcham, daughter Tracy Burcham Horton (Wesley), Brothers; Mike Clontz (Beverly), David Clontz(Tammy) Timmy Clontz (Becky) and Don Clontz, grand children Seth Saunders, Reid Saunders, and sister- in- law, Wiley and Wanda Burcham, sisters- in- law Becky Doby (Larry) and Jody Coley.
The family will receive Family and friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Mount Olive Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Mount Olive Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Hardman officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Olive Cemetery. The family is requesting that everyone please dress casually, as Barbara would want you all to be comfortable.
