Betty Sue (Fulk) Anders

Pfafftown, NC – Betty Sue Fulk Anders, age 76, of King, NC passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Priddy Manor Assisted Living.

Mrs. Anders was born on June 5, 1946, in Stokes County, NC, to the late James Roy and Mary Magdelene Fulk. She retired as a lab tech from Krispy Kreme. Betty was known for her beautiful blue eyes and a smile that could brighten any room. She was a generous, kind, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother with a heart of gold. She was also a wonderful cook. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 ½ years, Roger Anders; her brothers: Grady, Junior, and Norman Dotson, Alvin, and Carl Fulk; and her sisters: Roxie, Jessie, Ruby, Ethel, Elsie, and Marie.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Robin Newsome (James); her son, Timothy Anders (Misty); her sister, Dorothy Chilton; three grandchildren: Kelly Anders, Austin Newsome, and Noah Anders; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Priddy Manor for their exceptional care and compassion for Betty.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Slate Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Slate Funeral Home with Rev. John Pittman officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem, NC.
