Betty Sue (Collins) Brown

Pinnacle, NC – Betty Sue Collins Brown, 67, of Pinnacle passed away unexpectedly, Monday, March 2, 2020 at her home. 

Betty was born February 11, 1953 in Surry County to the late Hardin Jerry and Mary A. Collins.  She was a member of Shoals Baptist Church, and was a seamstress for Perry Manufacturing prior to her retirement.  She loved painting pictures of Pilot Mountain and making flowers out of tin cans.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers: Jerry and Steve Collins, and sisters: Harriet Collins, and Margie Nelson.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 40 years, Jackie Brown, her daughters: Melissa “Missy” Midkiff (Kevin), and Tina Marie Shelar (Tony), sisters: Jane Fulk (Leo), and Norma Mullins (John), grandchildren: Hope Bowman, Bree Midkiff, Darton Midkiff, Dylan Smith, and Isabella Hooker.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, March 6, 2020 at Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Shane Hayes officiating.
