Betty Griffin Obituary
Betty Jane Griffin, 74, of King, NC passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at her home.
Ms. Griffin was born on August 25, 1949, to the late Edgar and Barbara Sheldon. She was the widow of the late Frankie Griffin. She like to travel with the Seniors at Quaker Gap and enjoyed her weekly meals with her neighbors.
In addition to her parents, and her beloved husband Frankie, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Shelton, and her sister, Beverly Newsome.
Those left to cherish her memory is her son, James Griffin, and wife Wendy; a sister, Debbie Adams; two grandsons: Connor Griffin and Mayson Cline; along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Slate Funeral Home. Online condolences may be offered at www.slatefh.com.
