Winston-Salem – Beulah Mae Collins Spainhour, 93, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
Ms. Spainhour was born in Stokes County, NC to the late Grady Glenn and Elsie Culler Collins on May 18, 1929. She retired from Hanes Brands where she worked as a seamstress; she traveled extensively as a consultant to many knitwear companies. Beulah was artistic, she loved crafting, making greeting cards, and birdhouses, She dearly loved her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Spainhour, and her son, Rolland Spainhour.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Angela Spainhour-Tucker (Steve), a daughter-in-law, Debbie Spainhour, four grandchildren: Meredith Tripplet (Zach), Wesley Spainhour (Meredith), Alyson Howell (Andy), and Kyle Howell (Amber), along with seven great-grandchildren: Lilli Tripplet, Mason Spainhour, Conway Spainhour, Lauren Howell, Lindsey Howell, Annabeth Howell, and Hudson Howell.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Van Nelson Officiating.
