Braylen Leigh Berthrong

Braylen Leigh Berthrong, 9, of King, NC passed away after a courageous battle with Atypical Rett Syndrome. 

Braylen was born on January 12, 2013, to Dawn Berthrong.  Braylen had a beautiful smile, and she shared that smile with everyone, no matter what she was feeling. She was a beautiful soul, and in her short time here with us, she impacted the community and Braylen may never have spoken a word, but she has touched so many hearts all over the US and everyone she met.  She enjoyed Paw Patrol and found great joy and love with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted mother, Dawn Berthrong, her beloved big brother, Brighton Berthrong; her adoring grandmother, Shirley Berthrong; and her loving uncle, Brandon Berthrong.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Slate Funeral Home.
