Brenda Kaye (Snyder) Lane

Brenda Kaye Snyder Lane, 80, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

Brenda was born in Forsyth County, NC, on June 2, 1944, to the late John Branson and Edna Raye Troutman Snyder. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.  

Brenda was a lifelong member of Hopewell Moravian Church and Newborns in Need. She was a fan of Judge Judy, and The Price is Right. She was a faithful friend who found joy in keeping up with her friends by phone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ray Lane, and her brother, Mickey Gray Snyder.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jonathan Ryan Lane (Lindsay); brother, Donald Ray Snyder (Vicki Campbell); sister, Jean Grubbs; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Paige Lane, Ellie Kate Lane, and Addie Rae Lane; and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Lane will lie in state on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell Moravian Church. The funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Paul Stutzman officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery immediately following the service. The family will receive visitors following the interment.
