Brenda Gayle (Moore) Mabe

King – Brenda Moore Mabe, 75, of King, NC, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Mabe was born on April 26, 1947, in Forsyth County, NC to the late Edward Olen and Nellie Doub Moore.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in King.  She was a loving wife, mother, and granny.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Jerry Mabe; three sons, Dwane Mabe (Angie), Steve Mabe (Hope), and Chad Mabe, (Rose); a daughter, April Tackett (Mike); and a sister, Faye York (Dan); along with fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM, on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church in King, with funeral services following at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Kevin Broyhill, Pastor Scott Vernon, and Pastor Roger Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery on Rosebud Rd. in Walnut Cove.
