Carol Ann (Lawson) Thomas

Carol Ann Lawson Thomas, 62, of King, NC, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, Winston-Salem, NC.

Ms. Thomas was born in Forsyth County, NC, on October 24, 1961, to the late Wallace J. and Verta Gordon Lawson. She was preceded in death by her son, John Ayers, Jr., and her dear brother, Gary Lawson.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shannon Luedtke, of Taylor, TX; two brothers, Larry Lawson of Advance, NC, and Don Lawson (Cathy) of Rural Hall, NC; a nephew, Terry Lawson (Kelly); her grandchildren: Bryce Ayers, Levi Luedtke, and Hudson Luedtke; and her best friend and caregiver, Shirley Patrick of Winston-Salem, NC.

Interment took place at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church in Pinnacle, NC.
