Catherine Darlene (Payseur) Vawter

Catherine Darlene Payseur Vawter, 65, of Rural Hall, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

Catherine was born in Forsyth County, NC, on October 6, 1960. She was a wonderful mother to her daughter, Christy Vawter, who preceded her in death, and the best grandmother to her grandsons, Kyle Vawter and Andrew Oates. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, often watching her favorite movies together. She took care of her grandsons after the death of their mother. She did all she could to give them a good life; most importantly, she gave them love and support.

There will be no formal service at this time. Please keep Kyle and Andrew in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult and trying time.
