Cathy Sue (Westmoreland) Parrish

Cathy Sue Westmoreland Parrish, 75, of Walnut Cove, NC, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Woltz Hospice.

Mrs. Parrish, born in Forsyth County, NC, on December 31, 1948, to the late Walter Everette and Rosella Payne Westmoreland, was a homemaker who dedicated herself to the care and nurturing of her family, a role she took immense pride in.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette Boyles.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband, Paul Lee Parrish, Jr., of the home; her daughter, Heather P. Kirkman of King; her son, Shane Parrish of Pinnacle; her precious grandchildren, Emma Addington Lyza Addington, Tristan Kirkman, Astoria Parrish, and Treylin Todd; and her beloved great-grandchild, Harrison.

At Cathy’s request, her life will be celebrated privately by her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 945 Zephyr Dr., Dobson, NC 27017.
