Charles Phillips Obituary

Charles Larry Phillips, 83, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Davie Medical Center.

Charles was born on November 28, 1938, in High Point, NC to the late Hugh Glenn and Lola Cook Phillips. Mr. Phillips was a US Army Veteran and was retired from RJ Reynolds. Following retirement from Reynolds, he was employed with Wilson Pest Control and Lowes Foods. He attended Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church.

In addition, to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Pat Phillips.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Michael Phillips and wife Amy, and Steven Phillips; a daughter, Joanna Lance, and husband Mark; sisters: Jane Jones and husband Bill, and Ann West; his companion, Barbara Lawson, and grandchildren: Michael S. Phillips and wife Melissa, Brittany Gustafson and husband Brian, Collin Lance, Maggie Lance, Monica, Jason, and Justin; along with ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Services for Mr. Phillips will be held at a later date.
