Christopher Samuel Oakes

Christopher Samuel Oakes, 16, of King, NC, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Christopher was born on October 8, 2008, in Forsyth County, NC, to Amber Oakes Fulk. Christopher loved to watch Sponge Bob; he loved his family, hugs, kisses, and smiling. He loved being around people. He was a member of Simmons Grove Baptist Church.

Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Randall Fulk, and his paternal grandmother, Patricia Gentry.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Amber Oakes Fulk; his stepfather, Anthony Fulk; two sisters, Aliyah Fulk, and Ashlyn Fulk; his maternal grandparents, Marty and Michelle Semones; his paternal grandparents, Ray Gentry, and Jean Fulk; his aunt, Alex Hamm (Jon); and two uncles: Tyler Semones, and Corey Fulk (Chrisa).

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Simmons Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Jacob Hall officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
