Clarence Sawyers Obituary

King, NC – Clarence Edward Sawyers, 73, of King, NC passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Sawyers was born February 21, 1948, in Surry County, NC. He was a US Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He loved driving his red mustang, and his big rig.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Medie Craig Sawyers; two sisters: Ann Thomas and Daisy Leftwich; and three brothers: Herbert Craig, Horace Sawyers, and Leon Sawyers.

Left to cherish his memory is two daughters: Michelle Speas (Jimmy), and Frankie Sawyers; two sons: Shane Sawyers, and Craig Sawyers; five grandchildren: Jessica Bryant, Hannah “Toot Toot” Butera (Chris), Edward Sawyers, Liam Sawyers, and Lil’ Shane Sawyers; along with one great grandchild, Harper Bryant.

Mr. Sawyers requested that no services be held, just remember him often, and fondly.
