Cynthia Blackburn Anderson, better known as "Nana", went to her Heavenly Home on May 10, 2024. Her favorite day of the week was Wednesdays, which was full of hugs and kisses provided by her two favorite little people, Ellie Mae and Waylon, her great grandbabies. She was at her happiest when surrounded by her family. She enjoyed a good cup of coffee, shopping, and most importantly her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She made the most of her health issues the last 21 years. We rejoice in the fact she is now completely healed in the arms of our Lord. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Garfield Blackburn and her mother, Mabel Reed Blackburn. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Mike Anderson; two daughters, Stacey (Brian) Pettit, Lori Beth (Justin) Dillon; granddaughters, Taylor Clifton and Aadyn Dillon; great grandbabies, Ellie Mae and Waylon Fry. The family will hold a graveside service at 3pm on Monday May 13, 2024 at Macedonia Baptist Church 6816 Doral Drive Tobaccoville, NC 27043 with Pastor Derrick Hinson Officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
