Daniel Eugene Frye

Daniel Eugene Frye, 70, of King, NC, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

Mr. Frye was born in Forsyth County, NC, on August 19, 1954, to the late David and Helen Phelps Frye. He worked as a program manager at B. E. Aerospace for 47 years. Mr. Frye enjoyed watching Westerns on television and keeping up with Fox News. He had a deep affection for his dog. Copper, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He was a member of Mt. Airy Wesleyan Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Sue “Susie” Frye.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 32 years, Deborah Ayers Frye; three daughters, Holly Dotson (Larry), Amanda Troutman (Robert), and Stephanie Goldbach (Shawn); two brothers, Ronnie Frye (Sue), and Dennis Frye (Jan); a sister Freda Mabe; and his beloved grandchildren: Gabrielle Troutman, Daniel Troutman, Noah Troutman, Paiton Surratt, Olivia Surratt, Adalynn “Addie Sue” Troutman, Aubree Dotson, Ella Dotson, Sawyer Goldbach, and Boone Goldbach.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Mt. Airy Wesleyan Church. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Eric Smith officiating.
