Dannie Clay Tuttle

Dannie Clay Tuttle, 74, of Tobaccoville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at his home surrounded by his beloved family.

Dannie was born on December 19, 1951, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late James “Buck” and Hazel Horton Tuttle. He retired from US Airways, where he was a dedicated mechanic for many years.  He was a member of Capella Church of Christ.

Dannie loved the outdoors; he was often found working in his yard, gardening, riding his tractor, or his favorite pastime, playing with his grandchildren. He was always an active part of his children's and family's lives. He was a faithful and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, father-in-law, and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Sue Tuttle Key, and his in-laws, Paul & Ruth Bennett.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Sandra Bennett Tuttle, his daughters: Brittany Hill (Jason), and Amanda Sink (Travis), his brother, Sammie Tuttle (Liz), his precious grandchildren: Hunter Hill, Bayleigh Zachary, Emma Sink, and Sawyer Hill, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and other special friends & family members.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Capella Church of Christ. Flowers are appreciated, or memorial donations may be made to Capella Church of Christ, 1187 Flat Shoals Rd. King, NC 27021.
