King, NC – David Stanley Brown, 57, of King passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Health. 

Mr. Brown was born March 16, 1964, in Forsyth County, NC to the late John David Brown.

He was the owner of David’s Flooring Service, Inc. He was a member of King Christian Center, where he served as Head Usher.  David was a hard-working man of Christian Faith who loved his church and adored his family and his dogs.  Woodworking was his most enjoyed hobby.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Vikki Bowman, and his mother-in-law, Hazel Bowman.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Kathy Bowman Brown; his daughter, Olivia Brown; his brother, Jamie Brown; two half-brothers, Timmy Moser (Teresa), and Phillip Moser (Nancy); two grandchildren: Liam and Alex Brown; two sisters-in-law: Deborah Miller, and Rebecca Dixon (Terry); a brother-in-law, Ronnie Bowman (Garnet); his father-in-law, Colonel Bowman; and his fur babies: Noah and Isabelle; along with many coworkers and friends.

Mr. Brown will lie in state on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 11:30 am until 5:00 pm, at Slate Funeral Home, King, NC, for the public.

Services will be private.
