Deborah Lou (Styers) Fletcher

Deborah Styers Fletcher, 74, of King, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Ms. Fletcher was born on November 26, 1950, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Emory Gray and Mary Viola Hailey Styers. She retired from Sara Lee, where she dedicated many years of service as a Merchandise Specialist. She was a member of Marshall Baptist Church. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and watching her two favorite TV shows, Gunsmoke and The Andy Griffith Show. She loved the Christmas season and kept the joy of it alive all year long by having a room dedicated to her beautiful Christmas village.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Gary Alan Fletcher and Paul Douglas Fletcher, her sister, Linda Styers Boyles, and her brother, Ronald Gray Styers.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Suzanne Chrissman, and husband Douglas “Mike”, her niece and caregiver, Cheryl Wilson, and husband Carl Daniel, her grandchildren: Kayla Fletcher Williard and husband Eric, Zachary Cole Brannock and wife Samantha, and Madison Hutchins, her great nieces, Kaitlyn Wilson and Halye Taylor, great nephew, William Grayson Wilson, a brother-in-law, Jerry Lee Boyles, and her friend and caregiver Kenneth Paul Riddle.

The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Fletcher's sister, Suzanne Chrissman, located at 5843 Old Rural Hall Rd. Winston- Salem, NC, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem, NC, with Pastor John Holmes of Marshall Baptist Church officiating.
