Delbert Harold Hall

King, NC – Delbert Harold Hall, 71, of King, NC passed away at his home on Saturday, March 11, 2023, surrounded by his beloved family.

Mr. Hall was born on June 1, 1951, in Ashe County, NC to the late Luther and Edna Barker Hall.  He retired from RJ Reynolds.  He enjoyed NASCAR.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of thirty-three years, Mary Jo Pulliam Hall, two sons: Scott Martin (Christy), and Steve Martin, three sisters: Jewel Pennington (Albin), Mary Gibbins (John), and JoAnn Holman (Roger), two grandchildren: Brittani Peace, and A. B. Martin, along with two great-grandchildren: Ryland Royal, and Lacie Peace.

The family wished to extend a special “Thank You” to Trellis Supportive Care for their love and compassion during Mr. Hall’s illness.

The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Slate Funeral Home in King, funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tommy Holder and Pastor Bryan Gough officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
