Delores East Obituary

Delores Jane East, 69 of King, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at her home with her loved ones by her side.

Delores was born on July 18, 1954, in Welch, WV to the late John Allen, Sr. and Alice Hipshire Allen. She retired from Mountain Valley Senior Living where she lovingly served as a CNA.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Carolyn Thompson, and Jennifer East; three brothers: John Allen, Jr. (Linda), Roy Allen, and Frankie Allen (Teresa); four sisters: Tressie Shorter (Mike), Edna Walker, Karen Welch (Greg), and Crystal Allen; along with five grandchildren: Emma Thompson, Daniel Thompson, Jr., Talon Thompson, Parker Link, and Jenson Morgan.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
