Obituary
King – Denise Bacot “Deanie” Saunders, 68, of King, NC passed away peacefully at her home, with her beloved family by her side.
Mrs. Saunders was born on April 24, 1953, in Charlotte, NC to the late Lewis Alan Bacot, and Juddie Bacot who survives. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Philip Saunders, a daughter, Holly Rebecca Saunders (Bobby Bennett); a son, Philip Allen Saunders (Stephanie); three grandchildren: Wesley Lee Lambert, Elijah Camden Saunders, and Audrey Lauren Saunders; and two brothers: Jack Lewis “Pudge” Bacot, and Dr. Alan Hunter “Buzzy” Bacot.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday, March 14, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Slate Funeral Home, 132 E. Dalton Rd. King, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stokes County Habitat for Humanity: P.O. Box 310, King, NC 27021.
