Denise Ann Smith

King – Denise Ann Smith, 59, of King passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at her home.

Denise was born on September 15, 1960 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Bill and Mary Lee Smith.  She was a member of Poplar Springs Church of Christ.  She received an Associates Degree in Accounting from Forsyth Technical College.  Denise would knit hats and scarves for premature infants; she was a very helpful and giving person.  Denise adored her children.  

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Elizabeth Luper, her sons: Josh Luper (Elisha), Jacob Whitney (Kayla), and Christopher Whitney, her sisters: Vickie Lynn Smith Stout (Dana W. Stout, Sr.), and Debbie Smith (Dean), and grandchildren: Riley Elizabeth Luper, and Jackson Earl Whitney.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Poplar Springs Church of Christ at 11:00 AM, on Monday, August 17, 2020 with Minister Don Wallace officiating.
