Dewey "John" Fountain Moser

King – Dewey “John” Fountain Moser, Jr. 94, died Thursday, September 14, 2023. He was born July 15, 1929, in Stokes County, NC to the late Dewey F. Moser, Sr. and Bertha Bowles Moser. John was a Korean War Veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was the owner of Moser Construction Company in King, NC.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Nell Moser West and Dorothy Moser Hicks, and a brother, Billy Gray Moser.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Bernice Wall Moser and two daughters, Tracie Moser Tuttle and husband Jacob Mark Tuttle of South Carolina, and Roxanne Moser Bailey of Virginia; two grandchildren, grandson, Jack “Johnny” Mauger Bailey, III and his wife Stacy Waters-Bailey, and granddaughter, Sara Megan Tuttle.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 2-4 pm at Slate Funeral Home in King, NC. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Slate Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in King, NC.
