Don Kelly Wolfe

Lexington – Don Kelly Wolfe, 61, of Lexington, NC passed away at Atrium Health Lexington Medical Center.

Mr. Wolfe was born in Davidson County, NC to the late Don Gerald and Dixie Lee Cheek Wolfe. He was a body shop foreman with Richard Childress Racing. He enjoyed Bass fishing and RC Planes, but he loved spending time with his children and granddaughter Chole.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Krista Lunsford (Daniel), and Carly Wolfe; his sons: Zachary Wolfe and Zane Wolfe; his granddaughter, Chloe Lunsford; his best friend, Steve Ellis; and a close friend, Robin Johnson.

The family wishes to thank the hospital staff: Dr. Mariencheck, PA-C Lindsey, Nurses: Christian, Miranda, and Bianca, along with many others.

A memorial service to honor Mr. Wolfe will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Slate Funeral Home.
