Doris Ann (Spainhour) Harris

Tobaccoville – Doris Ann Harris, 73, of Tobaccoville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Harris was born in North Carolina to the late Richard E. and Letha M. Holcomb Spainhour.  She was a salesclerk at Macy’s Department Store prior to retirement.  Ann was a member of First Christian Church of King.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and she also enjoyed gardening.  Ann was also a breast cancer survivor. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Owen Connor Harris.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Pat Spainhour; her stepson, Todd Harris and wife Cosby; and grandchildren: Justin, Jordan, and Hallie Harris.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 23, 2021, at First Christian Church of King with Pastor Glenn Van Meter officiating.
