Dwayne Lester Smith

Dwayne Lester Smith, 56, of High Point, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 17, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Smith was born in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Wayne Lee Smith and June Benton Smith, who survives. Dwayne enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. Dwayne was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Allison Hunsucker Smith; his mother, June Benton Smith and husband Ted; his brother, Daniel Smith and wife Deanna; his sister, Daphne McHone, and husband, Rick; a niece, Kasey Elliott and husband Nelson; and his father and mother-in-law, Coley and Barbara Hunsucker.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, at First Christian Church of King, with Ministers Glenn Van Meter, Peter Cain, and Donald Davis officiating.
