Edsel Luther Spainhour

Edsel Luther Spainhour, 89, of Winston Salem, NC passed away on July 10, 2023, at his home.

Born in Surry County, he was the son of the late Walter and Lucy Irene Ashburn Spainhour and the widower of the late Betty Wooten Spainhour whom he was married to for 14 years. Mr. Spainhour was retired from Hanes Brands where he was a shipping clerk and was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Vickie Lynn Mathis and husband Burt and sister Bonnie Chambers and husband Wayne, also one brother William Spainhour and wife Jean.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday July 19, 2023, at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall, NC.
