Edward Chatham Lineback

King – Edward Chatham Lineback, 76, of King, NC passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by those whom he dearly loved.

Mr. Lineback was born on June 8, 1944, in Cana, VA to the late Charlie and Hazel Utt Lineback.  He was retired from Forsyth Memorial Gardens and worked security for the Cadillac dealership.  He loved to watch t.v. and enjoyed the beauty of the outdoor wildlife.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: June and Bill Lineback; and a sister, Betty Lineback Tucker.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife of fifty-four years, Carolyn Lineback; his daughter, Teresa Fletcher and husband Gerald; his son, Tony Lineback and wife Teresa; his sister, Mary Ann Wilson; his brothers: Charles Lineback, Doug Lineback, and Jim Lineback; his beloved grandchildren: Stephanie Lineback, Steven Lineback and wife Kimmie, and Rachelle Essick; three wonderful great-grandchildren: Sadie, Tobias, and Sonny; special friends, Jackie Moser, and Junior Bennett; and his special fur babies, Lucy and Tootsie.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Boyles Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Jack Darida officiating.
