King, NC – Emma Faye Collins, 72, of King, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

Emma was born on December 2, 1952, in Stokes County, NC, to the late Coy William Flippin and Rhumell Denny Flippin. Emma retired as a Home Care Aide here in Stokes County. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren and missed her husband dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rocky Lee Collins; her sisters, Carolyn Boyles and Darlene Blakely; and her brother, Gaither Flippin.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: son Rocky Collins and daughter-in-law Jacqueline Collins; daughter Jennifer Easter and son-in-law W.G.; brothers Royce Flippin and Glenn Flippin; and sister-in-law Patty Flippin. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Blake, Abby, Brittany (Cameron), and Alex, along with great-grandchildren Everett and Weston, as well as several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Mount Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Slate Funeral Home in King, NC.
