Obituary
Pinnacle – Esker “E.R.” Ray Conrad, Jr., 77, of Pinnacle, NC passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House, surrounded by those that loved him dearly.
E.R. was born in Forsyth County, NC to the late Esker Ray, Sr., and Augusta Spainhour Conrad on November 6, 1945. He was a loving husband and father and found joy in farming. He enjoyed his career in aviation; he retired from Piedmont Airlines as a lead mechanic. E.R. attended King Baptist Mission.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Kathleen Fuquay Conrad, and two sons, Jacob Conrad, and Lance Conrad.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Slate Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Slate Funeral Home, with Rev. Rick Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park, Rural Hall, NC.
