King, NC – Floyd Franklin “Frank” Myrick Jr, 61, of Stokes County, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026.
Floyd was born on August 7, 1964, in Guilford County, NC, to the late Floyd Myrick Sr and Linda Faulk. Floyd was an inspector for the city of Greensboro. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He loved spending his time camping, spending time with his fur baby Mia, and had a love of classic cars. No hobby gave him nearly as much joy as spending time with his family.
In addition to his father and mother he is preceded in death by his stepfather Albert Faulk, Father and mother in-law James and Joann Young. Left to cherish his memory are his wife and love of his life, Gail Myrick, son, Christopher Myrick (Ashleigh), Sister, Tammy Gordon (Wayne), in laws Dora and Barry Young Edwards, Bobbie Jo Young, Wayne and Rhonda Young, and his fur baby Mia. As well as several nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
