Glenda Lee (Hutchins) Fulk

King – Glenda Lee Fulk, 78, of King, NC passed away at Stokes County Nursing Home in Danbury, NC, on Friday, May 13, 2022. 

Ms. Fulk was born on February 4, 1944, she was the widow of the late Virgil Fulk.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She loved flowers and gardening, and particularly enjoyed visiting with neighbors and friends wherever she lived.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father. Roger Hutchins, and her son, Randall Fulk.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Roy Fulk, and wife Vickie; a daughter-in-law, Jean Fulk; her daughter, Laura Fitchette and husband Glen; her grandchildren: Anthony Fulk and wife Amber, Corey Fulk and wife Chrisa, Cara Gibson and husband Bryant, and Reid Fulk, and six great grandchildren.

The family wishes to send a special “Thank You” to the caring staff of the Stokes County Nursing Home.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Slate Funeral Home in King, NC.  Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM in the Slate Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Scott Vernon officiating.  Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall.
