Gloria Jean (Bolt) Branscome

Gloria Jean Bolt Branscome, 74, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Mrs. Branscome was born on May 23, 1951, in Willis, VA, to the late Dellas and Alma Lee Alderman Bolt. She was a member of Poplar Springs Church in King and worked for B.E. Aerospace for 50 years. She enjoyed tending her flowers and plants and loved her fur babies, Buster and Grace.

Gloria was known for having a meek and mild temperament. She loved people and always wanted to make others happy, she placed others above herself, and she was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. She always wore a smile on her face, and her kindness will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ten brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Jerry Branscome; her daughter, Christina Webster (Rodney); her brother, Michael “Mack” Bolt (Penny); her sister, Faye Dalton (Gearland); and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Slate Funeral Home in King, NC, with Minister Donald Davis officiating. The family will receive friends following the funeral service. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Kermit Quesenberry Family Cemetery in Dugspur, VA.
