Grady Lee Barber

Grady Lee Barber, 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at his home in King.

Born in Surry County he was the son of the late Roy and Essie Wall Barber. Mr. Barber was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.  Mr. Barber was preceded in death by his son Michael Gray Barber.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife; Glenda McHone Barber his Children; Sherrie Shaw (David), Ricky Dean Barber (Sharon), Amanda Cagle (Jason), Sheila Stanley (Jimmy), and Danny Barber his sisters; Glenda Styers (Ken) and Judy Duggins. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends and family from 11:00 till 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Slate Funeral Home in King. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery in Tobaccoville, NC.
