Henry Fredrick Eugene Bowman

King, NC – Henry Fredrick Eugene Bowman, 80, of King passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 12, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Bowman was born on November 5, 1941, in Johnson City, TN to the late Raymond Lee and Eula Pauline Leonard Bowman. Mr. Bowman was a graduate of East Tennessee State University, retired from Sara Lee Hosiery, and later worked at NAPA Auto Parts for many years. He was the President of the Forest Hill Circle HOA,  member and former president of Delta Nu Alpha a transportation fraternity, and was a member of King Moravian Church where he sang in the choir and formerly served on the Board of Elders. He was an avid reader, and wood worker, he also enjoyed genealogy research.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Lee Bowman.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of forty-four years, Linda Bowman; his son, Robert Drew Bowman, and wife Gudrun; a stepdaughter, Vanessa Adolph Lessig, three grandchildren: Carolynne Sabine Lefebvre, and husband Eric, John Patrick Henry Bowman, and Marta-Ann Elsbeth Bowman; and two step grandchildren: Rachel Tuttle Vaught and husband Jacob and Grace Tuttle, along with his feline friend, Maggie

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday November 20, 2021, at the King Moravian Church with Rev  Doug Rights officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the fellowship hall.
