Pinnacle – Hestella Bodenhamer, 93, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family.
Hestella was born in Stokes County, NC, on June 19, 1929, to the late Willie Lee and Emily Southern Fulk. She retired from Hastings Company. Hestella was an avid walker, and dearly loved her cat, Bob. She also enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music and dancing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Vester, Percy, Ted, and Matthew Fulk, and her sisters: Maggie Fulk, Pauline Dodson, Leomia Dodson, and Louise Pratt.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Carol Hargrave, Deborah Simmons, and Sherry Robertson (Curtis), her cat, Bob, two grandsons: Anthony Hargrave (Margaret), and Curtis Robertson Jr. (Cyndi), three great-grandsons: Houston, Eli, and Theo, one great-granddaughter, Mahalia Hargrave, a brother, Joe Fulk, and a sister-in-law, Maggie Fulk.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with Drew Southern officiating.
