Ian Michael Bortz

Ian Michael Bortz III, infant son of Ian Michael Bortz, II and Cheyenne Belle Lane, passed away October 22, 2025, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy, NC.

Ian was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Michael Parks and Elaine McCoy.

Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are his paternal grandparents, Jessica Hall and Tyrone Hall, and his paternal grandmother, Michelle Lane. Great Grandparents: Charlotte Raele, Dawn Bortz Davis. Aunts: Janesa Bortz, Shelly Denise, Leah Harris, and Angelica Dillow.  Uncles: Austin Bortz, Eli, Isaiah Parks, and William Dillow. Cousin: Easton Parks, Mason and Xavier King, Jaiden and Noah Davis, along with a host of other family and friends.

Private services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Slate Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at the Dehart Watkins Cemetery.
