James Hoyle Conner

King – James Hoyle Conner, 76, of King, NC passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at his home with his beloved family by his side.

Mr. Conner was born on December 29, 1944, in Rutherford County, NC, to the late Roscoe and Annie Louise Powell Conner.  He retired from Aon-Hewett., where he worked as an ERISA Analyst. He was a member of First Baptist Church of King where he served as a deacon.  He found great joy in driving his 2003 Red Mustang and learning how to drive professionally so that he could drive as fast as possible.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years wonderful years, Barbara Campbell Conner; his daughters: Sonya Leann Boles (Michael), and Heather Renee Bagg (Nathan); and his granddaughters: Samantha Kaitlynn Boles, Rachael Kay Bagg, Madeline Renee Bagg, and Hannah Grace Bagg.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice 401 Technology Dr. Mt. Airy, NC 27030 or to First Baptist Church of King 122 Kirby Rd. King, NC 27021.
