James Donald East

King – James Donald East. 82 of King, NC passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Priddy Manor Assisted Living in King. 

Mr. East was born on December 1, 1939, to the late James Oliver and Nettie Bennett East.  He was a tobacco farmer and enjoyed working with farm equipment. He found pleasure in attending various auctions.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: William (Bill) East, and wife Betty Sue East, JoAnn Craddock, and husband Johnny (Slim) Craddock, Linda Parris, Janice Boyd and husband Robert Boyd, Joseph Arnold East, Gary Steven East, and Charles Terry East.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Johnny Leon East and wife Cathy Boyles East, and brother-in-law, Jerry Parris, along with many special nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Boyes Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Mike Skeens.
