Obituary
Walkertown – Jean Carol Brown Byrd, 74, of Walkertown, NC passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House.
Jean was born on April 2, 1949, in Forsyth County, NC to the late Carlis and Aileen Martin Brown. Jean retired from Kmart after over thirty years of faithful employment.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gary Byrd, her sister, Deborah Brown, and her granddaughter, Brandy.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Theodore Byrd, her daughter, Blair Sprinkle (James), her brother, Randall Brown (Angie), two sisters: Judy Campbell (James “Jim”), and Kathie Brown, two grandsons: Adam and Henry Sprinkle; along with several beloved nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Cedar Falls Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Jeff Whitaker officiating.
