Joan Marie (Craig) Kiser

Joan Marie Craig Kiser, 86, of Walnut Cove, NC, passed away peacefully with her beloved family by her side, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Rose Tara Plantation Senior Living.

Ms. Kiser was born in Harrisburg, PA, on October 11, 1939, to the late Byron S. and Alma Christman Craig. She was a homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family, whom she loved dearly. Joan was a member of Stokesdale Baptist Church, where she and her husband would sing some of their favorite gospel songs for the congregation to enjoy. Joan also enjoyed playing Bingo, her cats, and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Kiser, her granddaughter, Hannah Marie Robinson, and her siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jodi Greene (Ricky); Jamie Doncsecz (Rick Tatum); James Doncsecz (Jenean); Jerry Doncsecz (Kelly); and Joan Robinson (Bill); her sister, Marlene Shupp; along with several beloved grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Friends Union Church Cemetery in Pinnacle, NC, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 10:30 with Pastor John White officiating.
