Obituary
King - Johnie Keith Crouse, aka, "Booger", 65, of King, NC passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at his home.
Mr. Crouse was born in Forsyth County, NC on February 26, 1958, to the late William Letcher and Annie (Nifong) Crouse. He was a great fisherman and pool shark who played for the APA. He loved gardening. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Johnie Crouse, Jr., a brother, Richard Crouse, and a grandson, Tristen Hernandez.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Rebecca Browder (Chris), Tammy Crouse, and Lisa McKinney, his son, Timothy Crouse, eight grandchildren: Sommer Snider (Josh), Adriana Hernandez (Skylar), Hayden Crouse, Madison Dyson, Brooklyn Browder, Paris Dyson, Anika Dyson, Brycen McKinney, and one great-grandchild on the way, Aria Snider.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM at Slate Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Cromer officiating.
