Johnny Ray McKnight, 56, of King, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the home of his girlfriend.
Johnny, born on October 25, 1967, to the late Kenneth McKnight and Lois Kiser Denny, was a man of many passions. A skilled carpenter by trade, he found solace in the art of creation. His love for fishing and firearms was a testament to his adventurous spirit. Johnny's culinary skills were unmatched, and his taste in music, particularly Rock and Roll, was a reflection of his vibrant personality. Above all, he was known for his selflessness, always putting others before himself.
In addition to his father, Kenneth McKnight, and his mother, Lois Kiser Denny, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Marvin Denny.
Left to cherish his memory are his girlfriend, Hope Christian, his best friend, Anthony Barr, and other close friends, Denise Cockerham and Robin and Harold Denny.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
