Karl William Barr

King, NC – Karl William Barr, 62, of Stokes County, passed away in his home on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Karl was born on April 16, 1963, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Paul Barr and Billie B. Barr who survives. Karl was a HVAC technician. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He loved spending his time fishing and golfing. No hobby gave him nearly as much joy as spending time with his family.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mittie Barr. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Billie Barr, sons, Jeremiah Keith Barr, Christopher Paul Barr, and brother Jeffery Paul Barr. As well as 5 grandchildren, family, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Slate Funeral Home with Dr. T.S. Elliott officiating.
