Katrina Sue Ward

Katrina Sue Ward, 52, of King, NC passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Katrina was born on August 20, 1970, in Surry County, to the late Bobby Gene Ward and Sharron Bunn Ward who survives. Katrina worked as an insurance adjuster for National General Insurance, she loved puzzles and crafting.  Katrina was a beloved daughter and sister.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Sharron Bunn Ward, two brothers: Eugene Ward and Brian Ward (Chelsea), and two nieces: Lilly Grace Ward and Ella Rose Ward.

A family gathering in honor of Katrina will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Slate Funeral Home.
